It's an old wound that'd already healed over before, for the most part, as much as it ever will. This just opened it again. And time healing wounds works easier when memories actually fade.

We get along fine, anyway. It's just complicated. I think it's stranger, these days. We've been here long enough that it's starting to really feel normal, until something comes along and reminds us what we're capable of.
