Wash is bisexual, and very comfortable with casual no strings attached sex, and if given the choice would largely prefer those kinds of encounters compared to anything with Feelings attached, because emotional intimacy is weird and hard. It's not something he actively seeks out with any real regularity, but if someone catches his eye he might take it upon himself to initiate something. Might. While he has over time learned to ease up a little regarding emotional intimacy with the right people, anything leaning romantic is more or less out of the question for him, or at least going to be extremely difficult for him to icly reconcile with.
He's by nature aggressive and would tend towards taking charge, but he tends to restrain those aspects of himself unless he's sure the other party is into it. He doesn't need to be dominating, but he has pretty severe control issues and wouldn't be comfortable around anything that involves him giving up too much control or anything that requires too much vulnerability out of him.
Fun fact, Wash also has perfect memory, so he sure is going to remember even weird drunken hookups in vivid detail. He's also by nature detail-oriented, observant and very perceptive, which makes him very, very good at learning what someone likes and doesn't like, and is very happy to use those that to effectively overwhelm a partner (provided they're into that, of course).
