I am often not someone who is focused on another, but I have learned to, most especially through this.

What would you suggest I work on then? The artistry? The knots? Or more complex patterns?

I draw it out sometimes specifically to focus on them more. It's a state of mind I enjoy, and I tend to tailor things towards what my partner actually wants, as I work with them.

Follow what you like about it. If you like that it takes time and dedication, then I think you'd like learning the more complex patterns, and when you do that your knot work will improve naturally with it, too.
